He performed a Surgery on my wife suffering from Oral Cancer, with an excellent results , while, full of empathy and support to her during the entire recovery and follow up period. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The first time my Dad meet with Dr. Gajanan and the boost he gave to Dad regarding his oral cancer made my Dad confident regarding the surgery... before him we meet a lot of doctors but would real like to appreciate the positive approach & very friendly attitude Dr. Had towards the patient ..which I feel was very important in my Dad's ( Cancer ) case. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Gajanan Kanitkar sir is one of the best Oncologist (cancer surgen) in Pune, Maharashtra. He treated my mother for breast cancer now my mother is very well.
Dr. Kanitkar sir is very tallented and experienced person with full of confidence, also very quick and precise in his work. Actually because of his friendly and soft speaking nature we become familiar with him even in first meeting. His positive attitude gives my mother hopes and confidence.
I personally had good experience while undergoing treatment of my mother from him.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I consulted Dr. Gajanan Kanitkar for my mother's breast cancer operation. When we met, he made us and my mother comfortable with his soft-spoken skills and explained why the breast operation is a must and how to remove the tumor from the breast. This gives us the confidence to carry out the breast cancer surgery under his supervision.
He is an expert in his field and carried out the operation with minimum pain. After the surgery, he visited the room before discharge and explain in detail the post-surgery medication and care to take.
My mother is doing well now, and I would like to thank Dr. Gaganan Kanitkar for the services offered during such a difficult period.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cancer is a dreaded word, and when we learnt that my mother had breast cancer, we felt scared, disillusioned and in despair ! A family friend recommended Dr. Gajanan Kanitkar as one of the best in the business, and we couldn’t have asked for a better doctor.
Not only did he perform a successful surgery, but communication was so easy and to the point with him, that it put all the anxiety to rest. He believes in keeping things simple – no staying in hospital more than absolutely required and no prescribing unnecessary medications or procedures.
He explained and guided us through every step, right through the hospital admission and to the post operative treatment. The confidence and positivity that he radiates really lifts the patients up.
Kudos also to his team Dr. Prashant, Dr. Maulik, Dr. Bajrang and all the Ruby staff. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a surgical oncologist in Pune.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mother accidentally discovered a lump in her left breast we all actually panicked as we had no experience with Cancer treatment before… one of my friend recommended Dr Kanitkar to me I googled him and found really good reviews. He operated my Mom for the lump and planned the after treatment very patiently and was never in a hurry..
Apart from being very good in his field he is a gem of person he gave my mom lot of confidence that she will be alright and not to worry
For my mother his words “ I will treat you like I treated my mother “ were like a booster and she went through the treatment confidently
I will personally recommend Sir to my family and friends and will always treasure the experience we had with him.
