★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The unknown and Beautiful Gatehalli Lake is about 19km from Bengaluru. The road to this lake is good. Located far away from city, this place is ideal for spending few hours. One can swim here, fish and also picnic with friends. Small but pleasant lake which cab be visited anytime of the day. One can also walk on the mud path, sit on the grass land and gaze at the bright clouds all day long. Overall a must visit

1) first thing here this a place place where people use there vehicles to wash, we can see most of the people's cleaning vehicles
2) washing clothes is a common thing
3) fishing spot, it's a good place for fishing also, needed time pass with friends then you can try
4) swimming also possible on weekends you will find local guys on the spot #it's a lake water do expect more

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the still pristine lakes in rural Bangalore. It is still surrounded by village looking area even though constructions have started hemming in the lake. You can see a variety of birds around the lake. It is still a rural lake, so don't expect an walking paths around the lake, there are some walking trails though. Saw few people swimming in the lake. Visit the lake only through the point marked lake view point, and the other way is covered by thickets
