Most of the things got sorted out over the phone starting from enquiry and process to have a new connection. Tribhuvan was very helpful and supported me with all the requirements. Installation of new broadband connection was absolutely quick and smooth. After installation Tribhuvan has messaged me and even asked whether the connection was started or not, am I getting proper speed or not ?
Overall fantastic service, follow up and quick to answer all my queries.
Thank you Hathway Kalyan (Mr. Tribhuvan) for helping me and making feel that I am important customer for you.
Recommending for everyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible ISP. They used to be the most reliable one here, I have been a Hathway customer for more than 9 years now. I have seen its rise and fall. I remember the day when they had some fire related incident couple years ago, inspite of that they started the service within like 2 days. Which is no longer the case, raise a request and no one even contacts the customer, you have to visit their office to get the issue sorted most of the time.
They did that stupid upgrade to 25Mbps for all customers last year, it started to go downhill from there. Logon to Twitter and open any of their post's replies, all you will find is complaints, so it's not just me.
There are no other good options like Jio, AirtelFiber or Tata Play in our area yet, they are in 1-2 areas within 421301 but not in ours yet. I am sure the day bigger players arrive, Hathway will have to shut shop as they have nothing to offer anymore.
Complaints:
1. Downtime: Nowadays pretty much all day internet is down ?
Even when it is working, it drags its feet.
2. Unreliable support: You raise a request sometimes they call you right away, sometimes not a peep for 3-4 days until you contact via twitter or in person.
3. Pricing/Tariff: I don't know what world they live in charging almost 3k for 25mbps quarterly which is down most of the time. I can get a 150mbps plan for that amount with Jio had this been a different city.
4. Staff Behaviour: They used to be very helpful when they set up shop, but i imagine they must get a lot of unhappy customers, they sometimes turn you away if it lunch hour or something; like it is some govt office.
This is not a value proposition anymore, look for alternatives.
