★ ★ ★ ★ ★ i went there tomorrow after its inauguration..it is an amazing experience for me ..i want to city centre station from karunamoyee station...and obviously it is less crowded..this saltlake metro route is from Sec-5 to Saltlake Stadium...and the best part is the view...the view of saltlake from metro is awesome...another best part is the gate which is usually opened when the metro is arrived at the station to prevent suicides

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First east west metro ride. Much much better than the existing north south metro corridor. Neat and clean station, better security with mandatory luggage scanning. Platform screen door are installed. Quality of the AC coaches better that those used for the north south corridor.

One Lift facility from Road to Ticketing area and another Lift is from Ticketing Zone to Platform and Divyang (Physically Challenged) ramp is also available to enter on the lift from the road. Located just beside the Karunamoyee Bus Terminus. Platform screen doors are available to avoid any accidents. Customer Services and Toilets are also made inside the station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful station. Till now there is no crowd at all. I have seen only 3 people to get on the train from here on a weekday afternoon. That's too less.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Newly built, this Metro station is next to the Sector V Metro Station if you are boarding the metro from Sector V. I happen to take some few snaps of Karunamoyee Metro station which I will be uploading. Being a newly built one it is quite well maintained and clean with ample safety and security provisions for the boarders. There is an automatic ticket vending and metro card recharging machine so the process is much faster. This East-West metro will merge with the North-South metro at Esplanade, but the construction has been completed till Phoolbagan, therefore I am waiting for a complete ride over Kolkata, although the short ride from Sector V to Karunamoyee was also quite pleasant too?.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Though in East West Corridor , no. Of metro trains running is only 48 ..but the station is well sanitized nd well maintained ..also all the devices and sensors are brand new ..boogies are new as well . Most importantly it's suicide proof !
