★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A destination to enjoy one or two day trip. There are many options available of resorts, villa and other private arranged accomodation. Beach is having local food stalls at the entrance. Some Water sports like banana ride, sand four wheel bike, horse cart is also available. Parking charges Rs 20 near beach. I m not sure, is permission given by government to collect such charges or not? But it's okay. Answer for the main query, Max 2 to 3 hrs are fairly sufficient at the beach to enjoy. Birla Ganesh mandir is 1 and half hours away from Kihim beach. You can roam at Revdanda, Nagaon beach too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As compare to other beaches in Alibuag, Kihim beach is not clean. There are lots of garbage on the beach. Overall it is good beach to doing other activities like surfing, boating , riding etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At just 12 Kms from the Alibaug, Kihim is amongst the most popular beaches in Alibaug. The beach has soft fine sand and is black sand beach with a slight white sand covering. The northern part of the beach is rocky and the southern part is a long stretch of sandy beach. But you need to be careful if you plan to take a dip in the sea at Kihim as you may find a few intermittent rocks.The scenery is perfect with the Khanderi and Underi forts looming over the horizon at the Kihim beach complete with the beautiful view of the setting sun. The best time to visit Kihim is in the months of December to February when the weather is cool and pleasant. There are food stalls near the beach selling ‘chat’ and snacks near the parking area. Water sports and parasailing are the most popular among the visitors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kihim Beach is a famous beach in Alibag. The beach is close to Alibag and Mandawa jetty. This is a clean beach. There is water sports on the beach, there is a horse carriage, there is horse riding. There are dining facilities as well as lots of cottages to live in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice, clean and tidy beach. You can enjoy this beach with family and friends. You can stay near the beach side as many homestay, hotels and villas are available on rental basis. The best part of this beach is population and food joints are guest and pocket friendly. Nonveg lovers must try the sea food here. It is a little spicy but yummy. You can spent quality time with your loved one.

You can enjoy water sports, horse riding, ATV bike riding.
Don’t have much options for food on the beach but there few restaurants outside.
Lots of stay option starting from Rs 500/-

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Neat and clean beach. Good parking place. Many food options nearby. ATV ride can be done on the large riding area.
It's a shallow beach with rocks underneath.
You will find water till the shore in the morning. By afternoon water recedes about half a kilometer uncovering the rocks and shallow beach. You can walk down.
