Situated in front of Indian Institute of Advance Studies ,famous and historical place.
Best thing is that u may watch Himalayan birds very closely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Himalayan bird Park is very near to Hotel Peterhoff in Shimla. There is a ticket of rupees 25 per person and extra charges for taking the camera.
It's a small enclosure where there are birds and stuffed animals. You see a variety of leopards tigers etc. here. They seem quite alive but they are not.
There are a number of birds which are kept in the park. On our visit we saw two peacocks, different kinds and species of Roosters and different types of birds. There were many Indian ducks there.
The chirping of the birds and quacking of the ducks just mesmerizes you. One feels like staying there for longer and listen to the charming sounds made by the birds.
The park is very small and one can roam the entire Park in less then 10 minutes. But if you are nature lover and love the chirping of the birds you would love to sit there for hours. Being an animal lover I didn't want to come out of the place and I wanted to visit it again but due to proximity of time I couldn't. Though a small place I would suggest to visit the place for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small and cute bird sanctuary. Best part was the birds were left open under the huge netted roof... You can see yourself admist. Beautiful birds... Lovely place for. Kids to get excited.
