How it has been made, what architecture they used, and the level of precision the took, it can only be understand by visiting this place. The ridge ground is not only the place to chill in Shimla rather this place is the must visit destination for all type visitors. I love this building, garden and sorroundings

β β β β β Definitely a beautiful place while being a historically important place as well.
Entry fees is 30 for the premises and the gardens. But to see the small three galleries on the inside you need to spend 200, which also includes a guided tour. I personally didn't find paying the extra amount worth it, but that's totally up to your preferences. If you just wanna see the beauty and the architecture buy the Rs. 30 tickets. If history is important to you, pay the extra amount.

β β β β β If youβre the one who loves to visit historical places then you must visit Viceregal Lodge in Shimla. This beautiful monument had been built in the British era and totally gives the feel of Europe. Being an Indian felt very proud that we have lots of historical places and all are well maintained like this one. The entry fee is 30/ which is quiet ok, and lodge entry is 400rs which is a bit high but yeah you will never be disappointed being here. And donβt forget to take a local guide with you. Happy travelingο

β β β β β The botanical garden is so beautiful. I'm a big gin lover but never saw juniper Berries tree in life, finally I saw here in Botanical Garden Shimla. They have beautiful flowers as well as grass lands. The trees around the building make it look more beautiful. Botanical garden have unique varieties of trees and flowers. The garden in front of building is so beautiful and attractive. I really wanna thanks gardener to maintain it so nicely, I can see their efforts to keep up this botanical garden. They have beautiful flowers as well as grass lands. The trees around the building make it look more beautiful. The best scenic view from botanical Garden. I had a great experience. Highly Recommended. Must Visit.

β β β β β A beautiful monument to adore & go through the history which was well narrated by the Guide. The historic importance of building ranging from its construction,water harvesting system, first building to have electricity back in those days to Shimla Conference every detail is worth knowing. The building is been kept well maintained both internally & externally. The lush green gardens with variety of flowers can hold you forever and make a beautiful landscape backdrop.
The staff is very humble, helpful & polite.
Advice:
1) Be mindful if traveling with young kids.
2) Book your slot well in advance to avoid waiting else you can enjoy the scenic beauty in meantime.
3) Usage of camera is prohibited inside the building.
