★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sanat Kumar Chatterjee was one of the greatest artist of India. The museum displays his paintings as well as paintings of his son Prof. Him Chatterjee. Apart from the art work, the picturesque location and exposure to rural Shimla is worth spending a couple of hours.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited Sanat Art Foundation on 04 July 2019, and I was most impressed! Impressed with thw creatively peaceful energy of the place, the calm and cool confidence of the care taker, his knowledge was a given, but it was an attractive place that drew my soul inside. I bought about pieces of Art which I completely adore! And without a doubt, I'll be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited this today, by mistake. Located in a village located in the middle of nowhere, it is the ground floor hall of a private residence. Was on my way to Chadwick falls, saw a board saying Chadwick falls 800m and Art Gallery 300m in diametrically opposite direction. But the road towards the falls was so bad that took the one towards art galley. After parking the car way far from the house, had to take a very steep 45 degree ramp to reach the entrance. Gathered my breath in wonderful breeze and went in. There was no electricity in hall.
There are a good number of paintings but most are by the same painter and are similar to each other. Paid additional for the camera, which was not worth. Visit if you don't have anything else to do.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An Art Gallery worth a visit. Just few hundred meters ahead of Chadwick Falls. Not only the Gallery but outdoors, boundary and Entrance Gate are nicely done.
You will see many facets of artform with vide variety of paintings. And as an added bonus this Gallery has a link with Ravindra Nath Tagore.
A must visit place if you are and are visiting Chadwick Falls.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ beautiful place as well as gallery if you plan trip to shimla then you must visit here, this is the historical place as well as a house of a great artist Shri Him Chattarjee Sir, they also built their house with great art innovative ideas sky is the limit is best suitable here . and the art gallery located here is speechless i have never saw these kinds of artworks related to ancient history and best artists of the history 100 of feets of artworks you can find here and the series of most paintings and also the artworks of many prominent artists the more i can write about this place is not enough rest of you can visit and see
