★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably the best Ferry Service around Kolkata, staff behaviour and services are equally good, cost rs 8 per head, you can also travel with your bikes which would cost a few bucks extra.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the oldest ferry services in the district of Hooghly. Now the service is done everyday through motorized small launch and passengers are plied between Konnagar and Sodepur( Panihati) at a reasonable fare.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ferry connecting Panihati and Konnagar on either side of the Ganges river! Beautiful scenery, nature, wind, water. Great place to chill and relax with friends during evening. Iskon temple is also beside the ghat on Panihati side.

There is total chaos as of now.
People are always waiting to get across the Ganga River.
Seems to be the MOST NEGLECTED in West Bengal.

One side is konnagar and other side is panihati (sodepur)..
Steamer will be available in about every 5 - 10 minutes..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoyed my ride through the body of Ganges when we were returning from bishnupur from arambag local also our house is at sodepur and it was easy for us to reach at less time rather going from Bally Dunlop and the launch was big and nice one
