NATURE STAY - TEH-KASAULI DISTT-SOLAN HP

The location of the hotel is nice and the views from the room and the roof top terrace are great but what mars the experience is the service, indifferent taste/quality of food and lack of parking space. In the morning if you call reception and room service at 6.45 no one will attend your calls. The reception at least should be manned 24×7 but at this hotel it is not so. Room service starts taking calls only after 8am. So, if you are an early riser and want fresh tea prepared the traditional way at 6.30am you won't be able to get one. You have to do with the dip dip tea and skimmed milk sachets in the room, of which there were only four (two tea and two milk) in my room! In all other hotel rooms they have around 10 or more sachets each. Avoid staying in Annexe room as it is on the third floor and has a tiny balcony. Also, there is no lift. If you are an elderly person or have a bad knee/hip or other health issues you will have lot of trouble negotiating the stairs to reach the third floor. Food quality and taste are inconsistent. I ordered dal makhni and shahi paneer for lunch on June 16. The shahi paneer was totally sweet with no hint of salt! While the dal makhni was watery with weird taste with no spices and very little salt. Both appeared to be prepared by an inexperienced cook. In the evening I went to the terrace adjoining the room and it has sitting area with chairs and table but no person to serve you. I sat there for around 15-20 minutes waiting for a waiter to make an appearance but no one came. Had to call the owner/manager in Delhi to draw his attention to this! He gave me the receptionist's number and I called him to send someone to take the order. Compared to lunch, the dinner was much better. The paneer butter masala was delicious. If there is a power breakdown, the intercom will not work. So if you have to call room service or reception you have to go down to the ground floor! Better get the reception guy's mobile number when you check in. There is limited parking space for vehicles. The road to this place from Garkhal is full of potholes and narrow. Book a stay at Nature Stay only if every other place in Kasauli is booked. I am not visiting this place again.

I would give owls nest a 5 star review without any doubt. This place is a perfect place if you want to enjoy nature at it's best. The villa gives you an amazing vacation feel with all the amenities in kitchen provided well. It has great sitout area as well. The host is also very hospitable and courteous. All in all, a must try place.

I had an amazing stay at the property. The hotel is surrounded by greenery. They have 3 kind of stays available normal hotel rooms, cottage stay, villa stay. All the rooms are very clean and comfortable with wooden interior. The view from d hotel is mesmerising u can also see the sunrise from d property. I stayed there for 1night with my wife and v had a great time, there survice is very good and the food is amazing. In total it's a stay I suggest.

A very disappointing stay. The service and the hygiene in the rooms was not at all in accordance with the money we were charged(₹ 6000/ cottage). We stayed in the cottages and the rooms were super cramped up and dingy. One of the room's lock broke and one of our members got stuck inside. The manager in charge refused to take any action immediately. It was not until an hour till he decided to finally break the lock. Even then one of our members had to assist him due to lack of workforce. The food was below average and not worth it. For anybody deciding to stay here, I'd reccomend don't waste your money here and explore other places.

We stayed at Nature Stay for 1 day and it was a peaceful and entertaining trip. It is an average looking hotel but service and food is good. They have a tree house on top. View is also good from the balcony. Food quality is too good. Staff is very helping and quick. The best thing was they gave us a choice in dinner location. So we eat in tree house and boys climbed 40 stairs from kitchen to serve us food. Breakfast was also good in taste and quality.

The place has a very quaint-cottage-vibe. The staff is extremely helpful and polite. The view from the rooftop room makes the stay at Nature Stay totally worth every penny spent.

A beautiful place for a perfect weekend getaway in the heart of Kasauli. The staff are awesome. Food is good and the hotel rooms are just neat and clean. There's a great terrace as well for one to enjoy the scenic beauty of nature.

Good rooms. Comfortable stay, and reasonable rates. Staff was very cooperative. Food also was good.
