★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a wonderful temple built at the year 1259 by two pramanick brothers near the river ganges. The idol looks similar with that of dakshineswar temple. Thats why Sriramakrishna entitled the pramanick kalibari as the masir bari of maa dakshineswari. It is heard that sriramkrishna visited this place many times. The crematory ground Baranagar mahashashan is located nearby. The temple is well maintained. There is four shivalingas in this premises. Every year a grand puja is held on Maghi Purnima and thousands of people receives the prasad on that day. Though the road in front of the temple is narrow but accessible by car. You can not enter with a wheelchair. You are welcome with your family.

There are 4 atchala shiva temples at the temple complex. 2 shiva temples are situated at the outside and 2 temples are situated inside of the complex. The deity is worshipped as Brahmamoyee Kali.
