★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly unresponsive insurance service . First, they do not call you, you have to follow-up with them to initiate any kind of insurance process.Then they take a minimum of a 15 days to do something and then you have to call again and again!! They also look for ways not to pay, they will inspect your car but after that you don't hear anything from them. Very bad and horrible experience. Stay away from this pathetic insurance company u save lot to time and mental stress.
God has to save the policy holders to get any claims from this insurance company

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very unprofessional. these people were making over 25 calls a day to persuade me for their motor policy. and now when i need to claim insurance, i have made over 200 calls in the last one week with 90% going unanswered and remaining landing up with people who are clueless about the business.
worst, they are not even ready to reimburse my huge premium , leave aside assisting me with the claim.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would like to update the rating. Yesterday I have given 1 star because of the delay in the process of generating the motor policy. Today the new policy is generated (on the date of expiry of current one). I have registered my account in SBI General Insurance website and also linked my motor policy. It is a hassle free process and can be done within 2mins. I can view and download the policy any time and also I can claim the insurance online and track the claim. As of now I am satisfied and looking for a good relationship with SBI General Insurance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Please dont buy this SBI general health insurance. Service not helpful when there is emergency. Non of the TPA number is working which is given in the card. If you call toll free number they just you on hold and connect some other TPA who dont know your policy number. Truly bad experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ never buy any policy from sbi general insurance. I have taken home loan from sbi and i was forced to take property insurance. they debited the amount to my loan account without giving any prior information and they did not provide any information about the calculation of premium amount not only that, after multiple followups they sent the policy document after one and half month of debit of amount to my account that too with spelling mistake in my name. Now I am following up with the sales executive Siddalingesh to correct my name and provide me the calculation of premium amount but there is no response from him or customer care team. PLEASE AVOID SBI GENERAL INSURANCE and Specially their sales executive Siddalingesh. they forcefull charge the amount and dont provide any details after multiple followups.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After experiencing Policy Bazaar's incompetence in providing "customer service" over a time span of a week, I finally asked them for a refund on my Policy which they hadn't even created and I decided to buy a new car insurance from SBI General Insurance.
My first visit to this place has left me with a very positive experience. My concern was quickly addressed and Mr. Anand Manickam from the sales team did his best to create a 4-Wheeler Comprehensive policy for my vehicle. Sure, there was a small delay but it wasn't a deal breaker considering it wasn't their fault and they were waiting for an inspection report (handled by their vendor).
Once they got the vehicle recommendation from the inspection team, Mr. Anand was quick to act on it and I had the policy in my hand within 30 mins. The whole process took nearly 2.5 hrs to complete (instead of close to 1.5 hrs) but I left satisfied in the end. I probably shouldn't have visited this place during lunch hours.
The person who inspected my car for the insurance set the expectation that he'd meet me in 30 mins and he kept his word; highly appreciated.
Thank you, Mr. Anand, for helping me buy the insurance policy I wanted; I appreciate your help!
