★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yesterday we had been to Taka ari, a sea beach in Coastal Orissa, very close to Bengal border.
Not as crowded as nearby sea beaches in West Bengal, this is a scenic spot where mighty Mahanadi river goes into sea. The lonely beach is full of red crabs.
Local youths take tourists around the beach in motorbike pillions. It is a real treat.
There are ramshackle stalls where you can get live fishes, which they will cook as per your order.
You can stay in OTDC Pantha shala, a class property. There are two small hotels which did not seem to be worth trying.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sea beach is always a good option for holiday trip. Digha is not an exception of it also. One should visit it atleast one time. The beauty of the sea beach is really awesome. If you are lucky enough you can enjoy the beauty of sunrise and sunset here. Adequate hotels and restaurants are available here which is very helpful for tourists.
