The bank staff shared one more address to solve my issue and even that branch which is next to maxus was closed

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One year back I wanted a car loan so i went to State Bank of India Bhayander West Branch. I clearly mentioned to the loan officer that I work in a BPO industry. She saw my papers and said I will definitely get the loan. And she asked me to open a saving account. Later after the 3-4 days she said that they don't offer loan to employees of BPO.
My first question is if you don't offer loan to employees of BPO then why did she ask me to open a saving account and did not inform me straight away?
When I went to cancel the saving account immediately I found approximately Rs 300 was defected for insurance. I said never mind. Then they said that Rs 300 will be charged for cancelling the account within a year (when its not my mistake). I said its not my mistake but they could not do anything. I decided to come after a year to cancel the account.
My error I did not keep the receipt for first deposit and I never went to the branch so I don't have any proof. After a year I spoke to a customer service guy in the branch who was helpful. He searched my account number and gave it to me however asked me to come after 3-4 days and write an application for cancellation because the concerned person was not available. My second error I misplaced the account number. I went to the branch after 3-4 days, the same customer service guy says that there is lot of rush around this time and can't help. I understood that. However he wants me to come after 3pm. I said I go to work at 2pm every day. I requested that I can come any other day of his choice however it should be before 2pm. He straight away said NO.
All this is fine.
I went to speak to the manager if he can help. His name is K Singh. I was amazed to see that he was not even listening to me. I said the whole story. Rather than showing concern for what happened his first words were, " apki galti hai, apne receipt kyon nahi rakha. Hum lakho account me se apka account nahi dhoodh sakte".
My second question is that how the customer service guy was able to find the account number and the manager could not?
It is clear that he did not want to help.
I don't want to go to the same branch and talk to these unhelpful people. I'd rather donate my Rs 1000 to State bank.
Also if possible please forward the complaint for the manager K Singh to the upper level. As all your hard works go in vain when such people are the manager of the branch.
