★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's one of the slowest system. So frustrating that you don't want to go here again. They never respond to your enquiry. As I have observed, they just kill time doing nothing. They won't even move the file a bit. Not even give a glare at it.

1. Office is in first floor. Steep steps, no lift.
2. Too crowded. Absolutely no social distancing. They should look at options of issuing tokens before hand based on their capacity
3. Even the government staff were not wearing masks properly and there is no one to check temperature of people entering the office.
4. Only Middlemen seem to get work done.
5. Difficult to find parking nearby.. The office is on a bustling road.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Marriage certificate was done on the same day but the lady officer at the counter took bribe of Rs1000.
The way she asked for bribe was very secretive. She typed on the calculator and asked us to give.
So better clear it out before reaching out to her that she does not bribe you at the end of all the formalities. It's a shame that she being such a young lady in her 30s asked for bribe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here to apply EC, work completed in less than 5min. Please collect the form in any Xerox shop, fill in advance. Walk into the counter, they will verify the details and collect the required charges. EC will be ready next day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is not well organized. But get things done if you have contacts. Single Indian toilet is in the terrace. Better get your xerox and printouts at your place. Here it is 4 rs per xerox . 20 rs per printout.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here for the marriage registration. It went pretty smooth. Let me tell you, it really is easy!! Don’t pay 5000-6000 rs to the agent!! Hardly took an hour for the entire procedure. Staffs are very cooperative. Even though the place is insanely crowded!
Points to note:
* Either bride or groom should have the address in this office’s jurisdiction. In my case it was my wife who had address in JP nagar, and my address proofs were Kerala address( It’s fine)
* There is no dead line. We got our marriage registered after a year of marriage.
* Only bride & groom are enough to be present at the time of registration. You don’t have to bring mother or other witnesses along.
Let me explain the procedure.
1. On the basement there are shops selling marriage registration form. Pick it up paying 20 rs.
2. Fill the form. You need to fill Bride, Groom, Brides mother & 2 witness details in the form. Mention the addresses same as the respective persons Aadhar addresses. Fill all details, so that you don’t have to fill it while submitting and waste time. Also get the signatures of all witnesses and mother along with date.
3. Carry the below items.
- 6 2B joint photographs of bride and groom
- SSLC marks card xerox and original of both
- Adhar card of both xerox and original
- wedding invitation
- wedding photo with family : post card size
- id proofs xerox of witnesses mentioned
4. Now just submit all these, sign wherever they ask you to sign. In an hour you’ll receive the certificate. The fees is 220 rs. And then you can give your happiness fee if you would like :p
Pro tips:
- Go on a weekday, and reach by 10.30 AM.. it’ll be pretty fast
- Speak in Kannada, they’ll be more than happy and more comfortable making things faster.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Steep stairs, may be difficult for elderly people. No way to access it by wheelchair. The place is always crowded and very congested, as the place is too small for the crowd. Absolutely no space to even breathe during the peak hours. Vehicles will be towed by BCP tiger. Inconvenience to public. They have a standard reply always that the server is down come tomorrow and if you Pay bribe then work will done faster without any system issue. Parking should be on main road only, no special parking available.
