?️The spacious place is perfect to try innovative coastal cuisine amidst intimate and calm atmosphere , an aura accentuated by planters and floral murals on the walls. There is ample seating at the terrace too where one can enjoy the drinks and grub while watching the game at a projection screen. . ?Ok so coming to food and drinks: I enjoyed their signature cocktails- Vanakkam Kokum, Tam Tam and Quickgun Morgan; trust me the cocktails are as innovative as their names? . ?With an urban touch given to authentic Udipi cuisine, the starters and main course were delight to the palate. We tried Ghee roast chicken, UFC wings, Hummus with Paratha crisps, Raw Banana cutlets, Mini Dosa Taco , Sambar Khichdi, Potli Biryani ; all perfectly seasoned to give flavoursome flavours. . ?In desserts the tender coconut pudding n Gulab Jamun Tiramisu are delight to eat. . #bangalorepeeps I strongly recommend this place for good food and amazing cocktails. The restaurant is located in Indiranagar, n stands near Domlur Bridge.

Ever thought of dining at a place which has traditional Udupi cuisine with a modern twist? No? Well then you must try the newest restaurant in Indiranagar which delivers just that. Smartly named as UDP (Urban Deccan pub) this place delivers desi, regional food of the 5 southern states and presents them with a modern touch. Situated right above Mainland China in Domlur, this place is super easy to locate. As you enter,the decor will catch your eye immediately. The glass ceiling, the neat seating area is just a bonus, adding to your dining experience. For food almost all the dishes I tried were absolutely top notch! Below I'll mention the few dishes that I liked the most and would definitely recommended: • Deccan chips- yum crispy chips made of dried malabar parotta and served with an interesting dip. The combination is splendid. A great accompaniment with drinks or even otherwise. • Coorgi pork- well cooked pork with the best blend of spices simply melt in your mouth. • Tawa fish- so spicy and so delicious!! It has the perfect blend of masala which are sure to tickle your tastebuds. • Potli biryani- served wrapped in banana leaf is something very different from most biryanis I've tried till date in terms of taste and texture. • Prawns- being a seafood junkie i was blown away by the prawn preparation. • Elaneer Payasam Pudding: authentic Kerala dessert made of tender coconut. Every bite you take comes with bits of coconut. It's creamy and not too sweet which makes it perfect and thus a popular dessert. Amongst drinks: Try the coconut cold coffee! It is served in huge glasses and tastes Delicious! They serve cocktails too. My recommendation would be Tam Tam which is vodka, tamarind puree, apple juice and coriander. The blend of all the ingredients is really smooth. The staff is very prompt and knows the menu in depth. Best part? It's moderately priced which means you get to enjoy a good meal without burning a whole in one's pocket I definitely recommended it! :)

The Urban Deccan Pub or UDP is an authentic restaurant that brings to you the best of South India with an urban and unique touch to it. The Chefs' originality and effort speaks for itself with the elaborate menu that offers the best, most popular dishes that not only taste better with every bite but also make you want to try more options on the menu. The decor is simple yet mesmerizing for every age group and every gathering so be it a chill evening with your friends or a nice luncheon/dinner with your family- UDP suffices for all scenarios. I've visited a number of restaurants but this one struck me because the food here made me develop a liking for authentic South Indian food which hasn't happened with any other restaurant before. The quality and quantity both ace the game, kudos! Moreover, it's very rare that pubs come up with cocktails that are prepared with unique ingredients but UDP gains brownie points in this department as well and one cocktail that I will definitely recommend is 'Vanakkam Kokum'. You can thank me later? Favorite dishes- ?️Chinnavengaya Sambhar- Deep fried button idly tossed in flavorful spices. ?️Mini Dosa Tacos ?️ Baked Kuzhi Paniyaram (Must try especially in Non- veg which includes prawns) ?️Street Style Chicken Curry ?️Potli Biryani ?️Deccan Paneer ?️Pepper Chicken ?️P&P cutlets Dessert that stole my heart- ELANEER PAYASAM PUDDING♥️ All in all, it's a new touch to Namma Bengaluru which resides in Indiranagar and just cannot be overlooked. Great menu, delicious taste and superb ambience. Definitely give it a try because you'll love it.

Visited this newly opened place in domlur and had a wonderful experience! Soo UDP is a new concept that celebrates the soul of Udupi, the warmth of a classic pub and the vibrancy of bengaluru! The place has an amazing ambience with trippy lights and a huge bar counter. The sitting here was is a bit uncomfortable me, as the seat kept tilting front making in difficult to sit. The service here is good, the servers are well trained and humble. The food and drinks here is definitely the highlight of the place as is different and better from any other usual pubs. There is a huge variety to choose from. Out of all my personal favs were the hummus and malbar chips. I also loved the anjali fish fry and the chicken wings. The ghee roast and the chicken pepper were just perfect as well. Moving on to the mains i loved the combination of Appam with the chicken Chettinad and mutton ghee roast. Then for the desserts we tried the elaneer pudding and the brownie. The elaneer pudding here is just out of this world, it's must try, a perfect end to out wonderful meal. So overall it was a wonderful experience for me. Will surely visit again. FOOD - 5/5 Service - 4/5 Ambience - 4/5

Located on 100 ft road in Indiranagar, Urban Deccan Pub is spread over two floors with subtle interiors and the food and cocktails are inspired by South India, mostly Udupi. I visited this place on a Sunday afternoon to garb lunch with few of my friends. We started with some of the cocktails and I had the refreshing gin-based Deccan Sunrise which is a must try along with the rum-based cold-brew Quickgun Morgan. For starters, if you generally go for the nachos, then try the Deccan Chips here and I bet you wont stop eating them along with your drinks, the Bisi Belle Poppers were another delight to our mouth. The Ghee Roast Chicken and Coorgi Chilli Pork, prepared in traditional Mangalorean style were delicious. The Prawn Ghee Roast Dosa Tacos and baked koozhipaniyaram was a perfect amalgamation of the dishes. Heading to the main course, we tried the Bengaluru Masala Pizza along with the traditional Sambar Khichdi and Potli Biryani which was mouth-watering. Ending our dinner with the desserts, I had the best Eleneer Payasam Pudding I have ever had before. If you are craving for some South-Indian food with modern touch along with amazingly unique cocktails, this is the place to be. :P

UDP is a newly opened pub in Indiranagar and serves amazing food and drinks which are inspired from South India. This place has a unique concept of fusion food and the menu is a perfect blend of classic and innovative dishes. You will get to experience South Indian food in new flavours with a modern twist and you gonna definitely fall in love with it. UDP has soul of Udupi and vibrance of Bengaluru: the interiors are on spot with breezy terrace seating to enjoy the bangalore weather. Talking about the food and drinks here, the small bites are super delicious, tough to pick just one. Arbi Podi, Bisi bele poppers and Deccan chips are must try here. The flavours and fusion is bang on for these especially the bisibele one... cheese poppers mixed with bisibele flavours in such an innovative way, that your taste buds will keep wandering for sometime. For main course, I had sambhar khichdi and potli Biryani. When you get comfort food with such flavours, each visit to have it is worth the time and money. Jumping to drinks, they have an amazing bar serving wide range of cocktails n mocktails. Vannakam kokum, kokum fizz and quickgun morgan are one the best drinks as per my experience. Their dessert is short but each n everything is dying for.. I loved the gulab jamun tiramisu and Apple crumble rolls with toffee sauce.. amazing flavours! Overall wonderful experience, would love to visit their again n again.

Urban Deccan Pub as the name suggest it's a newly opened Pub which has a great authentic menu turned into Urban style. Every dish in the menu is Unique. For the starters we tried the Deccan chips which was served with Hummus and I specially loved the Hummus as it had some local authentic flavours to it. The other started I really loved is the P&P cutlets which are made from Raw banana and Peanuts. The coconut chutney was amazing Overall every started we tried was amazing Coming to Main course the Chole and The paneer curry made in a different style tasted awesome as it had the aroma of local flavours. Best thing is they have Malabar paratha and set Dosa to eat along side the Curry. Finally the best part of the meal was the desserts , specially loved the Gulabjamun tiramasu , it had the flavours of coffee while the Gulab jamun was perfect as well. Apart from the food the place serves some traditional coffee based cocktails and other signature cocktails. I tried Tam Tam and Impreached brewsky. Both of them we're amazing Huge credit to the staff and the team of UDP

South Indian food at it's best. Authentic food with signature cocktails and soothing ambience makes this place perfect for dine outs. This place has both indoor and rooftop seating arrangements, both having a different feel. Their snacks like seer fish fry, paratha chips with hummus is delicious. South Indian dishes like chicken chettinad and all the prawn dishes were adorable. Signature cocktails like Anna by the beach and the impeached brewsky will blow your mind. Desserts will make you go crazy. My favourite is tender coconut pudding. I couldn't stop myself from taking another bite. This place though specializes in South Indian delicacies but it also has some continental dishes which this place perfect to spend time with family and friends.
