★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a nice place for photography. But no one maintains the fort hence it is not clean and there is no place to sit. You can do a personal photoshoot or a couple photoshoot here also. But you have to be beware of the weak parts of fort before doing anything. The view of the dam on sabarmati river and also of the GIFT city is good from here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ancient fort in dilapidated condition.. most of the building and walls are fallen long back. Some remnants are still there.. it is not being maintained and also being located on ravines therefore it is in very fragile condition. Even then it is worth visiting. It is said to be built by Lord Indra himself.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small ancient fort located near the sant sarovar dam if you visit sant sarovar dam you should even visit the broken fort once , the problem is that there are snakes around there (not sure) because we can hear sounds of snakes hissing around the fort otherwise it is a good location for hanging out with friends and for photoshoot, one should visit the place at evening time!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the lost pages of the history books on Gandhinagar city. While Ahmedabad is an old and evidently historical place in Gujarat, Gandhinagar city was formed only much later, and therefore, a young city. It was set up in 1966, but finally took form by 1970 when it was formally opened up and the Government of Gujarat shifted the capital here from Ahmedabad.
Gandhinagar is named after the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi.
However, there are no claims that it can make to history. In such a background, it is here that the Indroda Fort holds a special place. It is perhaps a fortress that was built by the rulers of that time, as a military outpost and stockpile for aiding the military campaigns.
The rulers could have been the Gaikwads or the rulers of Pethapur or Patan.
It is in a broken down condition and is not maintained by either the Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation or the ASI.
It is a small fortress that is at best a good place for photoshoots.
