★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is neither any station here nor the train stops here for any halt. Anyone who has to reach Kankurgacci should reach to bidhan nagar station. Go out to the main road on a walking distance and cross road to board any passing bus which will drop you at Kankurgacchi... And kindly pronounce it as Kakurgaachi - (n silent) when asking locals. Most may not recongnize what place you are saying when pronounced with an "n" in it. I dont know why.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's not a railway station. It's a halt before Kankurgachi Railway bridge. It's a very important halt for Sealdah North line trains. After Phool Bagan Bridge, it takes care of safety and security for daily commuters and travelers. But, sometimes it consumes time longer than usual timing.
