★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tala railway station is a small railway station in the town of Shyambazar. It serves the local areas of Shyambazar and Belgachia in the Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Only a few local trains halt here. The station has two platforms. It is mainly a freight yard. Its station code is TALA.
The platform is not very well sheltered. The station lacks many facilities including water and sanitation. It is connected to the Jessore Road. There is no proper approach road to this station.
Shyambazar metro station and Belgachia metro station are located nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good station but needs a lot of improvement... Very local or general type station... No stoppage of any express train... centra line local emu trains of kolkata sub urban... Do runs through this...And... cleaninness is not up to mark... Need a lot improvement

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place for morning walk as there are very less trains go through this station.
Reaching the platform itself is an achievement. If you don't know how to reach the station, then you may not reach the station at all.
You may find lot of young teens or slightly older than those ages are practising either dance or drama ir karate etc at the platform during different time of the day especially during morning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a secluded feeling Station as it is not much renovated and it is just a few clicks away from Kolkata Station. It comes just under the R.G. Kar Belgachia connector Bridge, Hemanta Setu.
The station is least crowded and meagerly enlightened.
