★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst experience I had in My life with SBI.. 6 MONTH before I'm applied for new account.. They did 3 times of verification of my aadhar and pan.. 6 times I went for deposit and enquiries about my account.. After then my parents are very angry on me, because I'm going 5km in bike and i went 10 times in a month to bank.. Even after 7 month they didn't give me passbook.. So I'm decided to close.. They behaved at me very harshly.. They blocked my profile in SBI.. Really worst experience ever..... SBI?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ SBI Marathalli branch cash deposit machine is not maintained properly .. lot of customer facing issues while deposit... it’s actually gets stuck in between and you can’t take that money immediately.. they will ask you to wait 3 days but actually they won’t help in 3 days they take weeks to .. what if some one in medical emergency.. no body cares .. manager simply point some one and that person doesn’t care ... for them it’s work and but to customers it’s money and they are in urgent ... when I asked about permanent solution they are like no engineers.. basically they don’t care

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service is very BAD.
1) For a PPF Account for my wife, they harassed a lot saying that Saving bank account is required to open a PPF Account (No rules like that). Then we had to write to SBI Head office and Banking Ombudsman. Then they called us and opened the PPF Account.
2) For opening my kid's PPF account who is only 3 years old... they gave a form of 11 pages to fill (where most of them were NA) and forced me to get PAN No for the kid. Also were insisting to have Saving Bank A/c. When I argued, they harassed me a lot (i had to go 5 times) and at last opened. The Lady (Manager) argued and kind of offended me a lot and didn't at all helped me to fill that big 11 pages form.
Pathetic service. They need to come out of thinking that they are for us, rather they are there because of us customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Generally the term SBI is synonymous with bureaucracy and when I first approached the SBI Marathahalli branch for some work, I had already assumed the same for it. But boy was I surprised.
Not only were all my issues resolved, it was done quickly and without much of a hassle. All of this during the Covid times.
I really and earnestly have to thank Lakshmish Sir for the same.
I really hope the same continues for all times to come.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First of all the phone numbers do not work. Nobody likes to take the call also. Most employees there hate their job and are not cordial. In the 21st century, this is the only bank where without going in person, nothing gets done. And that this is true during pandemic makes it all the more pathetic. The lone reason for its survival is the monopoly it has over certain aspects of banking. If there was possible to rate it with negative star rating then its rating should be negative five.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst SBI branch ever I saw in last 2 decade. It is better to have an account with specialised branch to have quick and complete service. Here you have to wait minimum 1hr to get your chance to service and while opening account they don’t update your mobile, email, nominee, bar code in passbook, you have to visit couple of times to get it update. Please avoid this branch and go to main branch even if it’s far since you will get it done in one shot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very crowded and under staffed branch to cater to customers need.
Staff is good and hard working but the staff has a take it easy attitude as in case of government jobs. I applied for a home loan and the manager who was processing my loan application went for a month long training and then took more than 2 months to start loan processing. I switched to another SBI branch and got my loan processed.
