The flats are really spacious and good but this area is very smelly and sometimes it makes us feel suffocating.
* Market and Flats are all good but Karnataka Compost Development Corporation (KCDC) has made the living difficult.
* There are times when there is no smell in a month but then, there are times when it smells everyday for a week. We need to keep our doors/windows closed.
* This is such a real and huge problem that even political candidates use this issue for elections (take a look at the attached pictures) and there were campaigns on 'right to breath' but no politician cares about this.
* And all the flat owners fool tenants that it is going to be resolved soon, but trust me, it's been there for years (6+) and not sure how long it will still be there.
* If you zoom in the map around SV Lakeview, then you will find Karnataka Compost Development Corporation (KCDC) just behind the lake. Keep in mind that smell because of the lake is limited (around 10-20 m from boundary of lake) but smell of this KCDC is spread around one km and whole of Somasundarapalya, Harlur and Hosapalya is in trouble.
* Its smell feels very poisonous and gives instant headache to the people who are not habitual of this smell.
There is NO REASON you should move out to a place where you CAN'T BREATHE. I have attached the actual picture of Garbage/Composite collections so that you can see and decide. If you move to this area (I have no problem with this apartment, I am talking about the whole area), don't say that I didn't warn you!
