Staff will ask the proof on each arrival
House keep is not upto the mark.
It not worth a star hotel.
Need to request things multiple times on multiple intercom numbers
Staff will not rely on their own guidelines.
Even the hotels with 30% of this price has best hospitality facilities near by.
Don’t expect respect if your are not family.
Food is just Ok.
Rooms are not worth this price.
Very bad experience wrt to my expectations on Taj brand.
Final verdict: Better not to choose if you are not visiting with family. As there are no matured staff they will be eyeing on us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed as a family over two days at the Gateway Vijaywada.
The stay was lovely, rooms are clean, food was very good and room service prompt. Staff is amazing and very polite and ever ready to help. The rooftop pool, gym and steam rooms are also good. Only downside is that the property is a little old and is beginning to show its age. There is ample parking as well, but is not well lit and seems to also serve as a warehouse for odd ends!
Overall a lovely and comfortable stay and would definitely come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food served at their restaurant is good. I have visited many other star properties, but here I found that if any local VIPs come to the restaurant they concentrate more on them rather than on the guest who are inmates.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is a function recently organized in the first floor, there is lot of communication gap between manager and serving people. I was given manager number. Items are over in between and the manager is not available on phone as his phone engaged. When it rings he will not lift. We have shout for food then one finance manager helped in serving. Chairs are not provided enough. Place is nice, receiving staff at entrance are good. But if you want to go for any function you keep your people at serving areas. At least once in a while the manager has to check what is happening on floor. They need to improve.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel calls for renovation. It is not friendly for physically challenged or senior citizens who may find it difficult to climb stairs. There are no ramps or lifts easily accessible! Staff are polite and service is good. The vegetarian food was very good. The rooms are spacious but very old fittings etc.,The location is excellent as it is right in the middle of the busy MG road..the bar is not great though the service was good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very courteous staff especially Front Office, who ensured that I am seated comfortably, gave a complimentary tea till the allocated room got ready. Certainly, worth experiencing it. The gym was also good fun place for a workout. Extremely well maintained and there hasn't been a single disruption in Internet connection.. Seemlees. Can't wait to go back again
