रायसेन शहर से सागर राज्यमार्ग पर जाते समय टोल नाके से बायीं तरफ जाने वाले मार्ग पर 20 कि.मी. की दूरी पर ग्राम कर्होद है| यहाँ से दाहिनी ओर खेतों के बीच से कच्चा मार्ग जाता है| इस मार्ग पर 5 कि.मी. की दूरी पर बहुत बड़ा पर्वत दिखता है, जिसकी तलहटी में छोटा सा गाँव अन्धेर बसा हुआ है| यहाँ से पर्वत पर चढ़ना दुर्गम है| दूसरी ओर खेतों के पास से करीब 2 कि.मी. की चढ़ाई है, लेकिन यहाँ रास्ता नहीं है और पैदल ही चढ़ना पड़ता है| ऊपर जाने पर दो बड़े स्तूप दिखाई देते है जो अच्छी हालत में है और संरक्षित है, लेकिन इनकी सुरक्षा की राज्य शासन ने कोई व्यवस्था नहीं की है| भोपाल से इस स्थान की कुल दूरी 60 कि.मी. है|

From here, on the right side there goes raw route from the fields. 5 kms on this route A large mountain is seen on the distance, on which a small village is inhabited in the foothills. It is inaccessible to climb the mountain from here. On the other hand, about 2 km from the fields There is a climb, but there is no way here and it has to climb on foot. Upon going, two large stupas appear in good condition and are preserved, but the state government has not made any arrangements for their safety. Total distance of this place from Bhopal is 60 kms. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Andher stupas (2150 years old ) are one of the five stupas surrounding sanchi,Located at the top of a mountain with magnificent views. Although the monuments are protected and renovated but there is no maintenance. You have to do a steep treak of 2km but final destination is worth the efforts and definitely you will find peace, calm and lot of pictures for your memories aswell.
Little more care of our hertiage is needed. Do visit this place if you can handle a trek.
