Hidden stupas' the road from NH is well carpeted the last 3 Km is a narrow single lane cement road with no space for another vehicle. At the end there is a nice river and from there a path is there to reach the stupa. In all their are 3 main stupas and has no description board.. some of these are restored And look beutiful.

The stupas were excavated around 1850 by Alexander Cunningham, who discovered two boxes containing relics.[2] One of the reliquaries, which is very ornate, is visible nowadays at the Victoria and Albert Museum. The reliquary of Stupa No.2 presents has inscriptions in Brahmi mentioning the names of Buddhist monks also appearing in the reliquary of Sanchi Stupa No.2 and Andher Stupas: Kasapagota, Majjhima, Kosikiputa, Gotiputa, and Apagira.[3] It would seem, then, that the ashes of these monks were divided between these three stupas. The date of construction of Stupa 1 and Stupa 2 must therefore be equivalent to those of Sanchi Stupa No.2, i.e. 125-100 BCE.[3] There are in all four groups of stupas surrounding Sanchi within a radius of twenty kilometers: Bhojpur and Andher to the southeast, Sonari to the southwest, and Satdhara in the west.[4] Further south, about 100 km away, is Saru Maru.

A nice historical place, but very badly maintained. There is no facilities for tourists, not any information about the place. It is located in a remote area and a very narrow road takes you the the place. Once you reach the end of the road, you will have to climb up a rocky path for around 300 meters. It is a gradual climb, but remember the place is absolutely isolated. Recommended to go in a group and not in the evening, or rainy season

Beautiful buddhist site and well maintained stupas belongs to 2nd BCE but approach road from salamatpur is not available so we have to go from itkheri road to sunari and it takes 20 km more distance.
