★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A surprise on my walk back from Mullick Ghat Flower Market nearby. This was lovely and not too crowded on a Sunday. Some nice architecture and a great view of Howrah Bridge. A peaceful atmosphere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Here you get submarine for cross the river ...it take cheap cost for any other facilities just like bus , taxi etc . It is the best place for photoshoot with howrah bridge that is beauty of Howrah .....it is you find peace looking flow of water some minutes ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Armenian Ghat — this was one of the oldest places in kolkata from where trade hub used to work .. Calcutta or kolkata as we call was always a cauldron of business and flux of all major activities in even pre British era…. Armenians , Jews , British , Greeks, Chinese many other nations used to have trade and commerce from this place … the trade of spices jute and other products were main traceable items which used to be ferried in ships and boats from this ghat …. Behind the Armenian ghat is the busy section of what we call Strand Road. This area of Kolkata has the vintage tinge and u need to feel the pulse of the city only when u walk through the crowded streets where waking without bumping into anyone is the challenge … but it makes u understand why kolkata was so important place in the history of trade and commerce in india…. All can’t be written in words in a small review of this magnificent city - I am posting very few pics of the place around this
