β β β β β These were the only folks willing to shelter an injured cat out of all the 30+ places we reached out to in Kolkata. They need help with upkeep, likely due to lack of funds.

β β β β β Please please dont ever take your dogs here.. If there is any injury then you can consider this place but if there is any internal problem with your dog then please dont go .. Coz there are all non experience vets which keep changing shifts.. And they medicate or give prescriptions even without examining first which they did with my dog.. They try to sell all there in stock medicine by prescribing it.. Never go to this place.. NEVER! You wont believe me the vets here ask compounders about what medicine to give ...

β β β β β Its good they rescue animals, dogs and cats but it would be great if they could also include birds in their rescuing domain which would have helped me in my case.

β β β β β I haven't taken there services and cannot comment much. But I heard they provide first aid and vaccinations for animals at moderate rates. It is located beside Tollygunge metro station and is easily visible from a moving vehicle in the normal traffic. There is no parking space available here.

People who want to visit the clinic named - "Compassionate Crusaders Centre for Animal Welfare" (located near rabindra sarovar lake, tollygunge railway station) for the treatment of your dogs/cats, I would request you all not to go there. To understand what I really want to mean, I am here describing in short a recent incident that one of my neighbours had faced.
A stray female dog of 4 month old started vomiting and stopped having food. So my neighbours took her to this particular clinic by a rickshaw, holding the dog on lap.
After reaching, the so called doctor along with his helpers told them directly that "dont keep the dog here, we are not going to touch her anyhow, this is a case or rabies, parvo etc.. you people also need to get rid of this animal. She is infected." So on.... so on...
The doctors didnt even touch the dog, checked with a stheto, checked her pulse/BP. Just nothing!
Instead they pushed 7 injections and took 800 rs from them. Also told them to visit the clinic tomorrow to get another 7 doses of injections.
Clearly, they found something was wrong with these professionals.
The health of the dog became severe after 12hrs and they took the dog to belgharia hospital.
There they got to know that the dog was surrering from intestinal worm only! To treat that, you just had to deworm the animal and nothing else. So the whole treatment in the clinic was proved to be wrong.
Hospital people also said that there should not be any intake of medicines as the dog is already in a severe condition. Her body (4 month) could not take the harmful effects of the 7 injections.
Sadly, in 1 or 2 days (this sunday at 2am), they dog died.
We opened her mouth and found that the internal body turned blue. She was poisoned. Poisoned by the injections and medicines of high dose given by the clinic.
This is just one incident i am quoting here. I can recite 3 to 4 stories similar to this regarding Compassionate Crusaders Centre for Animal Welfare.
Its my request, this clinic needs to be closed for lifetime. For the good health of the strays and pets.
Dont visit there. It is like a room to death for the fourpaws.

β β β β β I have been taking my cat here for check-ups, vaccinations, minor illnesses and even major injuries for the last 2 years. I have even got my got my cat spayed from here recently. I don't really have any complaints and am satisfied with their services since the cost of treatment is reasonable and the doctors are good. The assistants to the doctors have always handled my cat with a lot of care.

β β β β β Experience overthere really bad. This people in the name sake of NGO are charging awful amount of money from people who are in trouble with their pets . I went there for treatment of my ?? and they have charged me rs 1500 for only daigonasis and making chanel for the saline.they didn't prescribed me any medicine for my cat's dehydration even after asking rather they only put the saline and released my pet. There was extremely worst experience of mine over there and I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone. To take the service
