★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It used to be a great place to live. Today they are busy converting every inch into concertized office space. The residential block is subject to over 100 db of non-stop sound every day including Sundays. The loud noise is coming from an construction site within itpl. No attention is paid to the health of residents.
The persistent noise is now affecting our health and well being. Further the block doesnt have an RWA so you are pretty much on your own. If you are thinking of moving here, please avoid as you will be compromising your healrh.
Few days ago, heavy earth movers were deployed at 3 am in the morning and ignoring resident's protest, the work went on till 10 am. In addition to demolitionof MLCP, two new buildings are supposed to come up in the immediate vicinity of residential block. All this construction is being done at all hours without any soundproofing. All day heavy trucks and cranes keep moving in and out of the place...it is only going to get noisier once the next phase of construction starts..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely noisy.That too it is like they are pounding something continously. One can easily lose their sanity here. Not sure how people live in a place like this. Came to visit a friend and we could barely talk. We had to leave the campus to have a conversation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are thinking of taking a place for rent here, here is some advice:
* Rental rates here are 20,000 pm including maintenance. Some are paying even less. Do not pay a cent more as the place is not worth it. Maintenance rates are doubled every 2 years and a jump is due now
* The landlords just dont care about anything. Once you have moved in, you are on your own. From arbitrary utility bills, maintenance hikes and relentless noise from construction site just 200 mts away, the landlords wont step in to help in any way. Utility bills are dispatched with a 3 day notice.
* Construction of some sort happens every year. Right now they are breaking a huge building (MLCP) and 3 buildings will come up at that site soon. The developers have not put up any dust proofing scaffolding or done anything to contain the noise levels. Demolition starts as early as 5 am and continues well into the night. Sometimes you cannot even get into a call due to the noise
* the building is a 3 decade old structure and there is plenty of indoor air pollution due to seepage and dampness
* With dust flying around all day, one cannot even hang clothes for drying and the houses need to be cleaned every single day
* There are much better, less noisy and affordable apartments in the vicinity.
* There is no RWA. So the landlords and ITPL are free to act as they wish

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You are lucky if you have an apartment here especially if you work in ITPL itself. Walk to work/mall/play/gym/park anything is possible. The best part is that this is the only residential block in ITPL, very safe & secure. It is an old property but yet very well maintained with Power back up and all. The Carpet area is way higher than all the new constructions so effectively you get a much bigger house in the same price.
