★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This temple is basically looks like the JOR BANGLA TEMPLE... Unfortunately this temple is now in ruins.... No maintenance done for long time... Plants and bushes are all around... Not even clean...
From Bishnupur Junction it's little more than 4 km far... Or few steps away from GUMGHAR.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These are two deul-like (sort of Gherkin look-alike) very old temples in Bishnupur town of Bankura district. Most temples in Bishnupur have been taken up by ASI,and either maintained well or somewhat restored.
Not these two. They were nearly in ruins when found and Archaeological Society of India was not interested in restoring or preservation of these two side by side temples,God knows why.
Hence they are in complete ruins these days and waiting for their eventual destruction by the forces of nature. You can see the pair from the narrow alley,and that is about what you can do to see these attractions. Don't venture near them,if you are scared of snakes
Two points I would like to make here. They are called Ram Balaram temple or Jugal Kishore temple,and NOT Ram Valaram temple as stated by the previous reviewer. Also the picture that has accompanied her post here is utterly wrong and is of an entry porch to another temple in Bishnupur called Madan Gopal temple,where Puja is done daily after shifting the deity from another ruined temple called Mahaprabhu temple,located nearby
