★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nimtala ghat and Maha smashan are the two adjoining landmarks of Kolkata. Visit the ghat in the evening and you will love the ambiance. Well decorated and nicely landscaped river front is the photographer's delight. Visual of old Howrah bridge or Rabindra Setu is very nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well this place is good if you wanna find some peace. Though I suggest to go with your group because the slum area makes it a little bit difficult to be safe. Do not go wearing short dresses I suggest because the local guys are illiterate and they tease. Don't bother if somebody try to tease you better to walk away.
