★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Travelled from ooty to bangalore today. Bus was at 7pm from ooty. A number was provided. When i enquired, they said they will halt for dinner. At 7pm they provided pickup van, which took 2.5hrs to reach some other place, where the actual bus is.
1. Boarded the bus around 9 30. After a while, I enquired for dinner, and they(bus staff) said there is no dinner halt. When i shared my details, they simply behaved rude, showed hand signs and left. I called up the bus owner, and he was kind enough to arrange some food for me, which i picked up from Tiruppur stop.
2. Just 15 mins before boarding the pickup van, a text message came saying no pillow or blanket due to corona. Just 2 days back i travelled in greenline travels and they provided everything
3. They did not provide water bottle inside bus. When enquired for, they said such service never exists
4. When the bus reached silkboard, i asked next is HSR? they said yes, and went to madiwala, and then took turn towards ring road, and kept driving. I asked when will hsr come, and then they said get down here, and that was bellandur. In my ticket it is clearly mentioned drop point is HSR LAYOUT, BDA COMPLEX, OPPOSITE TO KFC.
Yes it is true that i could have arranged for my dinner and water prior, but i was told that the bus halts somewhere for dinner, and then a pickup van drives you through dark hilly roads, then its tough to understand. I went to ooty by greenline travels, and they did not had any issue, and fare was lesser than mayura.
Everyone do not have pathetic experience, but i had, and i had only because mayura chose to pickup ooty passengers, without actually being in ooty, avoiding tamil nadu covid norms, but still doing the business, with complete lack of management. On top i had rude drivers.
